Race at Work 2021 Survey

The Race at Work survey is the largest of its kind in the UK, it examines the experiences of employees in the workplace across every demographic group within the UK census. It aims to gather new and fresh insights into the experiences of ethnically diverse people in the UK workforce, with a focus on the impact of Covid-19, capturing ethnicity data, progression and effective allyship.

A full report presenting the survey findings and BITC recommendations will be published in October 2021. Business in the Community are aiming to hear from over 25,000 people from all ethnicities and understand their experience of the UK’s workplaces. It is critical to understand the issues around under-representation of ethnic minorities in the workplace.

The survey will run until Wednesday 30 June 2021 and is open to all UK employees aged 16+, currently employed, furloughed or self-employed in the UK. If you have any questions, email: [email protected]
