Waterloo Community Counselling (WCC) have been providing life changing counselling and psychotherapy in London since 1995. Situated in the heart of SE1, WCC provides accessible and affordable counselling to people living across London. The team are one of only a handful of talking therapy services to offer long term therapy at reduced fees, reaching adults from diverse backgrounds who have experienced loss, abuse and trauma. WCC also offers free, mother-tongue counselling to refugees and asylum-seekers in over 30 different languages. Now more than the team are seeing the impact of exile and displacement on ordinary people and your support will help us to support refugees and asylum seekers dealing with the long-term impact and trauma of this on a daily basis. Since the pandemic WCC has been working hard to meet the increasing mental health needs of Londoners. Last year referrals to their service doubled and they provided over 11,000 hours of counselling to our service users. The team are Crowdfunding to raise vital funds to support our counselling services and to allow them to develop new community projects and initiatives.
