Could your charity use a match funding grant from the Childhood Trust?

Through the Champions for Children campaign, the Childhood Trust is providing charities with match funding and capacity building support to run a successful online fundraising campaign - for projects helping disadvantaged young people and children in London.

They are encouraging charities to sign up for a crowdfunding campaign, using the Big Give platform, to run this June. The Childhood Trust will match the donations these organisations receive, up to a total of £50,000.

Alongside match funding, successful applicants will also receive workshops on how to run a successful campaign, one-to-one support and connections with other charities working with children and young people across London.

Last year, 111 charities participating in the Champions for Children campaign raised just under £3.5 million and supported over 140,000 children and young people.

Who is eligible?

Charities must be registered or have exempt status, and should have over £25,000 income and at least one year of filed accounts. They must be working with children under 18 years of age in London.

How to apply

Charities must create a free account on the Big Give platform, and register to take part in the Champions for Children campaign by 12pm on Friday 4th March.
