About DK Legal

David has more than ten years’ experience as a solicitor in the charity and not for profit sector. He qualified as a solicitor in 2007 and soon after joined the Charity Commission as a legal advisor. He then moved to a major UK charity where he worked as Head of Governance & Legal. In 2016, David founded DK Legal with the aim of providing charities and other not-for-profit organisations with access to high quality, specialist legal advice at affordable fees.

David has worked with a number of different charities since then, with a particular focus on serving smaller, local organisations. David grew up locally (in Kingston) and has served on the boards of various charities, currently acting as a trustee of two charities - Links International and Bluseeds – Dignity & Hope.

How it works

David has put aside time on a Wednesday morning each month. To make use of the helpline, please use the calendar below to find a suitable slot and book your appointment.

Make sure you select 'Legal Advice Clinic', and include a short summary of the issue that you wish to discuss so David can prepare in advance.

*Please note that the legal advice helpline is provided by DK Legal and is independent of Community Southwark.
