Services do not exist in isolation and neither do the people that use them. Partnership Southwark want to understand what needs to be done to ensure that services are joined up with substance misuse, criminal justice, mental health, physical health, and other systems.

02 December 2021 10:00-11:30

Partnership Southwark are looking to understand how to better deliver services with a person-centred approach and, as a system, to understand potential barriers to service provision for people with substance misuse, mental ill-health and / or concurrent substance misuse and mental ill-health, and multiple complex health & support needs

The team want to understand who is well served by the current substance misuse and mental health system in Southwark, and who is not.

Partnership Southwark is facilitating a system engagement workshop focused upon how best to support and empower people with substance misuse, mental ill-health and / or concurrent substance misuse and mental ill-health, and multiple complex health & support needs.

This system engagement workshop is for:

  • Organisations delivering services to Southwark residents with substance misuse, mental ill-health and / or concurrent substance misuse and mental ill-health, and multiple complex health & support needs
  • Professionals working with Southwark residents with substance misuse, mental ill-health and / or concurrent substance misuse and mental ill-health, and multiple complex health & support needs

This system engagement workshop will be used to improve the local system experience of people with these support needs, to identify priorities and deliverables for a discrete ‘alcohol, substance and mental health’ work-stream aligned with the Mental Health Strategy refresh, and to contribute to planning for the future commissioning and provision of services.
