Bankside Open Spaces Trust will host its fifth free street party on Friday 3rd June!

All those who live and work in the area, and those just visiting are invited to make the most of The Queen's Platinum Jubilee Weekend by getting together for a massive street party packed with performances, workshops, street food and good times!

Bankside Open Spaces Festival started life as part of The Great Get Together in memory of Jo Cox MP and has now evolved to become Bankside Open Spaces Festival.

Bankside Open Spaces Festival is a massive street party from midday into the evening enjoyed by young and old. In 2019, 12,000 people took part; in 2020 the event went online and returned in 2021 for a scaled back event. In 2022 the full street party returns on the Friday of the Platinum Jubilee weekend for a right royal celebration! Performances run across five stages, with over 100 performers, many from our talented local community...

Alongside live music and performances we also welcome a dog show, an animal farm, wacky races, and entertainment for all ages. Bankside Open Spaces Festival will take place in Redcross Way (south of Southwark Street) and Union Street and across Bankside Open Spaces Trust parks and gardens - Red Cross Garden, Crossbones Graveyard, and the Marlborough Sports Garden. The festival is the perfect opportunity to reach out to new audiences and engage with a vibrant community in the heart of London!
