Creative Network Southwark is a group of individuals and organisations working in the creative sector in Southwark. This includes those working in (but not exclusively) visual arts dance, film, music, performing arts, museums and spoken work. If you want to join, it's simple, just click here. Follow the Network on Twitter @CNSouthwark.

William Nicholson is the Chair for the Creative Network.

Our last meeting took place via Zoom on 1 March 2021. You can read the minutes from the last meeting here.

The network's purpose is:

  1. To help build and sustain a successful creative sector in Southwark.
  2. To offer the Network opportunities to develop, enhance and promote their work and services through knowledge exchange and mutual support and information.
  3. Keep the Network up to date with commissioning strategies, policies and opportunities.

Creative Network Southwark hosted its first event on 7 December 2016. This was  a scene setting event to discuss how the thriving creative sector in Southwark could be enhanced and made more sustainable and what aims and actions the Network could undertake to support this. Around 40 individuals and representatives from organisations across the sector attended a lively and productive morning. Feedback was very positive with everyone wanting to be part of Creative Network Southwark.
