About Charterhouse in Southwark

Founded in 1885, Charterhouse in Southwark is one of the longest serving charities in London. They provide funds to help the young people of Southwark by raising their aspirations beyond limits imposed by their circumstances.

Trustees meet three times a year to review applications - February,  June and October. Applications received less than a month before a meeting will roll over to the next one. 

Who can apply for a grant

 Charterhouse in Southwark supports charitable organisations that run programmes and projects for disadvantaged young people in Southwark.

  • Applicants will need to be able to provide at least one set of legally compliant accounts.

  • They will also be required to provide an organisational budget for the coming year.

  • Arrange a visit to your organisation as part of the assessment process.
