Andria Chin attended a Volunteer Advice appointment with Community Southwark in October 2018, with an interest in English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL).

With the guidance from our Volunteer Advice team, she has since got involved in volunteering with not one but two organisations within the borough: Pembroke House and Advising Communities.

Since October, Andria has volunteered at Pembroke House supporting the ESOL for adult learners and she has since taken on a further role as ESOL support tutor within Advising Communities.

Andria said:

"My volunteering has been such a great way to give back to my local community, as well as gain valuable work experience towards my career path".
