Are you running any events and activities that provide support for local people in Southwark this Christmas?

If yes, we can help you to publicise these. If you would like us, Southwark Council, and other partners to share these widely across our websites, ebulletins and social media channels then please add the details, including how people sign up, into the spreadsheet below, (this is p
art of our#ConnectedAtChrismas campaign).

Be Covid Safe!

Southwark case rates are incredibly high so please do go virtual if you can. Please only add your event or activity if you feel that you can run it safely, with everyone attending being socially distanced.

Volunteer this Christmas!

If you have some spare time to support local charities in running their Christmas events and activities, get involved here.

Join our list of charities to get extra funding this Christmas

Also, as part of this year's #ConnectAtChristmas campaign, we have set up a list of organisations who the public can support by donating directly to their fundraising pages. You can join the list here.

Apply for Connected at Christmas Funding

You can also apply for a pot of the Connected at Christmas funding here if you fit the eligibility criteria. You will need to fit into the categories below:

These grants are to support charities, local community groups and Sheltered Housing Schemes to connect with, and deliver, a range of activities, visits and small parties for older and vulnerable Southwark residents in the lead up to, or on Christmas day.

Support for Seniors and Carers

Please direct to the Ageing Well Southwark central hub number: 0207 525 3324. This number will take callers to the Council’s contact centre at the Southwark Resource Centre and gives people options to reach the Ageing Well Southwark service provided by Age UK L&S Facilitators and Council Customer Service Officers. Details of the service can also be found at: where you can also find a directory of services.
