Find out how you can volunteer in Southwark, and help your community get through this lockdown.

Volunteers have played a massive role in helping people through Covid-19. The new announcements mean that vulnerable people are once again being asked to shield and everyone is going to be living with more restrictions.

This means that more people are facing isolation and economic insecurity, but by pulling together as a community we can help those around us. If you are able to help then volunteering can be a great way of supporting others through this crisis.

The safety of volunteers, and the community more widely, is very important, so measures are in place to reduce transmission. This means that although everyone's time is greatly appreciated, it may be the case that a role will not immediately be available. If this is the case then please continue checking for opportunities to volunteer, and remember that staying at home is a very important way of protecting those around you.
