The Safer Communities Team in Southwark Council is seeking the views and experiences of service users/survivors of all forms of VAWG (violence against women and girls). This will help them shape future services from April 2022.

The Safer Communities Team want your help to commission high quality support and advocacy services for anyone in Southwark experiencing any form of gender-based violence or abuse.

You can help anonymously, this includes:

•           Domestic abuse
•           Female genital mutilation (FGM)
•           Forced marriage
•           Crimes committed in the name of “honour”
•           Sexual violence, abuse, exploitation and rape
•           Stalking and/or harassment
•           Trafficking for sexual exploitation
•           Prostitution

As part of this process, an online survey is now live on the consultation hub via this link.

The team want to ensure the services they commission provide the right support at the right time to all who need it.

To do this, they want to better understand the views and experiences of women and men who have been affected by any of these issues, either directly or indirectly. Whether or not you have chosen to access services before, your views are important.

The deadline for responses has been extended to 23 November 2020.
