Southwark Council have started a project to work alongside health and third sector partners to look at the opportunity and potential next steps in creating a single digital directory of all services, both commissioned and voluntary, across Southwark.

Please get in touch with the Project Manager, Shekeh - [email protected] if you wish to be included in the online workshops, community engagement and a short survey planned over the next 3 months. Dates for the workshop are as follows:

  • Stakeholder workshop – 19 January 2022 at 11-12.30
  • Stakeholder workshop – 9 February 2022 at 11-12.30
  • Community and citizen engagement – Monday 21 February 2022 at 11-12.30
  • Community and citizen engagement – Wednesday 23 February 2022 at 11-12.30

The project is an important opportunity for third sector services to contribute to the thinking of the best way to ensure that accurate information is available to all of those that need it at the right time. It is critical that people who are digitally excluded are not forgotten; whilst it is also true that significant proportions of the community think digitally first and we need as a sector to maximise the opportunity to make our services visible to these processes and individuals as well.
