South London Listens: Loneliness & Isolation Workshop

South London Listens is a joint initiative to prevent people becoming mentally unwell as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.

As the first step in this journey, South London Listen aims to give everyone in South London a voice as solutions are developed to help promote and protect mental health and prevent people falling into a mental health crisis.

The initiative follows the establishment of the ‘South London Covid-19 Preventing Mental-ill Health Taskforce’, a group made up of representatives from across the programme’s partner organisations. Its purpose is to take forward a long-term prevention programme focused on protecting and promoting mental health in the community.

As part of this, Citizens UK is inviting South Londoners to sign up to a ‘problem to issue’ workshops which help us move from broad, multifaceted, somewhat overwhelming problems to immediate, specific, graspable issues that we can act on.

In the individual listening, the problem of Loneliness & Isolation came up, so they would like to invite you to be part of a workshop on that theme – to define the issue and begin to think about possible solutions.

Please note that this workshop will take place over Zoom.
