Paddington Development Trust is providing funding for small organisations that offer employment and skills programmes for unemployed people.

The money is available for organisations that help unemployed people, be they on JSA or economically inactive, to get into, or to move towards, employment. This may be through good advice and guidance; outreach work; improving basic and digital skills; removing barriers; supporting work placements; improving confidence and motivation or helping people access skills training and jobs brokerage.

The grant programme in West and Central London is called EQUIP since its goal is to equip third sector, not-for-profit, organisations (any size) or smaller organisations (those with under 49 FTE staff) which often struggle to find funds to build capacity and through them to equip local disadvantaged people with new skills and job opportunities.

Grants are for £5,000 - £20,000.

Projects in Southwark can apply! (applicable as a Central London borough)

The EQUIP Team hosted a briefing session via Zoom on Tuesday 6 October 2020.
